My name is Sahebene

Hi my name is Sahebene, I am a passionate individual who wants to help people reach positive emotional well-being. Life can be unpredictable and overwhelming, and we may have to deal with it alone.

I believe that many of us are traumatized not by being hurt but by being alone during times of hurt. So often, we say to ourselves, “if only I had someone to talk to?” and it is possibly one of the reasons you came here.

I have gained substantial knowledge and experience in university and practice; this has enabled me to achieve my registered membership certification with BACP. I have worked with different groups, such as domestic abuse, trauma, loss, grief, bereavement, abuse, anxiety, and many more.

My methods are integrative, I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as my foundation. But then, I can integrate tools and techniques, such as Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Gestalt, Transactional analysis, attachment theory, neuroscience, and many more.

I am not here to judge, make assumptions or create expectations, but merely to wholeheartedly be present and empathetic with you.

I’m a trauma-informed therapist, working with Haven.”

Ethnic Background: Afghan

Likes: TV Shows and spending time reflecting on the world and myself and love new challenges.

My name is SANDRA

Hi I am Sandra, I am a Psychotherapist trained within the Islamic Theoretical model by Stephen Maynard and a Psychosexual Therapist trained at the Tavistock Relationships. At the heart of my way of engaging therapeutically is to provide opportunities to explore our experience of Self from a wide and rich therapeutic spectrum and its relationship with Soul and at the level of the heart.
For me, it is about being in a place of “heartfulness” in which Soul and Human attributes come together to dance attuned and in rhythm, in this way uncovering step by step the great potentiality of our Self. It is within the heart, that what we perceive as negative aspects of our self, limitations or negative experiences can become a golden treasure within.
I am passionate about working with an awareness of culture, spiritual, gender and sexual diversity in the provision of mental health services.
I am originally from Mexico and my close family is of a mixed and multicultural background.
Currently taking referrals for couples and individuals for psychosexual therapy.
